Paradise Canyon Cabins $500,000.
Here is an astonishing East Fork Kaweah River swimming hole 6 miles out Mineral King Road on a private 14 acre property. This is a great opportunity to own one of the most remarkable river properties in the world!
You could build your dream home on this property or make use of the 3 small cabins already on the property.
A little over 100 years ago, the Three Rivers/Mineral King area was occupied by about 2000 Native Americans. Little has changed; the water is clean and clear and the scenic beauty remains.

Paradise Canyon is at about a 2200ft. elevation and is just below the snow line where it is accessible all year. We were told by "old timers" that, in the 1920's people would stop at this location for a picnic and refreshment on their way to Mineral King on their horses . It is the only place in the 23 mile road to Mineral King that is shaded by a canopy of oak trees.

There are 3 cabins on the property nestled among the oaks, buckeye and moss covered rocks along a seasonal stream. The cabins are power by a solar system supplemented with a back-up generator. There is a septic system and the water source is from a raised water aqueduct just above the property.

The cabins have been vacation rentals at times and have had group ownership of the property. The rental cabins are lovely one room structures with kitchens, propane fireplaces, quality furnishings, screened in porches and wood decks. Two cabins share a spacious bath house. The third cabin is a bit larger with 2 rooms and has its own bathroom including a toilet and shower.

Mineral King Road is carved along the side of a canyon. The views are magnificent and the drive is an experience kind of like the road to Hanna in Hawaii. The old Oak Grove Bridge is a historical landmark just up river from the property.
